What id Aadhaar:
Aadhaar is a 12 digit identification number, issued by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to all the residents of India for the purpose of Unique Identification for Individuals. The number is stored in a centralized database and linked to the basic demographics and biometric information photograph, fingerprints and iris of each resident. My family of three members had applied for Aadhar Card on Jul 03, 2011(Enrolment No.s 1111/15202/47717, 47718 and 47719) over 18 months passed till we did’t get the Aadhar Cards. Now the govt isuued an order that the person who are not poduce the Aadhar Card before Feb 15, 2013 to the concerned gas agency they will not get subsidy facility.
