SSC CGL Exam 2012 Syllabus and Paper Pattern

Staff Selection Commission of India(SSC) is all set to Conduct the Combine Graduate Level(CGL) Exam for the Graduate Candidates this year. The Last date to apply for this written Exam was 20th April, 2012. The Exam has a fixed paper pattern mentioned below. The CGL Examination is Divided into 3 Parts(Tiers):

Tier-I Exam Pattern:

Tier-I Exam was held on 1st July 2012 and will be held on 8th July 2012 and this CGL Tier 1 Examination will be in both the Languages(Hindi and English). This examination will be covering four parts mentioned below:

Tier-II Exam Pattern:

The Tier-II Examination for CGL will also be a Multiple type Question Paper and this examination will be held on 2 days. i.e 15th September, 2012 and 16th September. The Tier-II Examination will be given only those candidates who have Qualified the Tier-I Examination.
The Paper I and II will be compulsory for all the Categories of Posts but Paper III is compulsory for those candidates who applied for the post of statical Investigator and compiler. :) Find the details of the Parts in the chart below.

Tier-III Exam Pattern:

This Test will Consist of Personal Interview, Personality Test, Computer Test and this Exam will consist of 100 Marks.

    Hey Man please correct yourself. You mention Quantitative Abilities
    No of Question – 200
    Max Marks – 100

    Its just opposite, verify here (http://ssc.nic.in/SSC.html)
    You about 2 give me Heart-attack :)

    hi correct format would be that in the tier 2 maths paper there will be 100 questions in total with a total of 200 marks.

    I have completed B.Tech in Electronics & Communication .So plz tell me that am I eligible for statistical investigator grade-2 post.

    Sir,
    During filling an application I selected the statistical post but I am not eligible for that acc to my educational qualification.

    Will I be disqualified for tier 2 if i dont take statistics paper on 15sept ?
    Will I be eligible for other posts ?

    i heard that cgl 2013 will be in subjective mode is that right or wrong ,,,, please reply me…..

      cgl 2013 will follow d same pattern as it has been doing since 2008,that is objective papers for both tier 1 n tier 2.
      however,there will be a qualifying subjective paper consisting of English,maths n general awareness.thats a qualifying paper to detect the malpractices,to deter those students who doesn’t deserve to be in ssc.marks f dat qualifying ppr wont be included.
